Shamrock shakes return...yes I love those things!

Some people say that seeing a robin or the flowers starting to bloom are a sure fire sign that spring is here. I am not saying that I disagree with these signs; I am just saying that my favorite sign that spring is right around the corner is when for a limited time only you can get a shamrock shake from McDonalds.

I mean who wouldn't love a shamrock shake?

It's green, minty, milky, shaky, and most of all super duper delicious. All of these qualities alone would not be anything really to write home about, but let's be honest when these items are combined how you could go wrong?  I just saying you've got: milk which does the body good, mint which is one of the finer herbs, green dye to give it that super fun festive spring color, it's frozen which is one of the best ways to ingest milk, and it is even served with whipped cream and a cherry on top. How could it get any better? Oh yeah here's how it gets better....wait for it....wait for it.....you can get this tasty treat right through the drive-thru!

This is why I would consider the shamrock shake to be one of my favorite things...no I not going to sing about it... I just wanted to write about it. So if you have not experienced this truly delicious sign of the impending spring get yourself to McDonalds during the beginning of March, and you too can experience the deliciousness of the shamrock shake! Yum!!!
