Breaking news!
A la hoya man clings to life after being attacked by a pack of wild dogs
More updates! I've finally fixed the user profiles so they can be updated! Also added some SEO and quick quoting for comments.
A little SEO (search engine optimazation) for the blogs means I've added the title of the blog entry to the URL of the entry. So my recent receipe I posted went from this:
http://timmeers.net/blog/Tim/226.aspx
To this
http://timmeers.net/blog/Tim/226/Grilled-Chicken-Quesadillas
Doing this allows search engines to pick up more meaning and have more keywords to go by. This allos searchers to find the site easier.
Of course it's a breaking change for the project as I drop support for the old URL path, but I have retained backward compatibility for it in my live site. I'll just have to remember that in the future when I push changes. With this I also unified the URL to just /blog/NAME/ where it could of had receipe or beer in place of blog before.
One little thing I added is to quickly quote a comment. Just click the Quote link in a comment and it will copy it pre-formatted into the comment box. There may still be a bug in it, but to be fair everything takes time to figure out the best way of doing things.
Also as already mentioned I fixed the user profiles so you can edit them again. If you update your Tag Line it will update what it says in your mini profile view on all your blog posts and galleries like what is to the right.
Also you'll notice the short bus with the 'Site Supporter' bagde on it. This is going to be updated again when I find another image, maybe even a few different ones and have them based on other things. But for now it will be just for those that contribute time or funds to the project (i.e. this site). See the About page for more info.
[edit 5-26 1:34pm]Looks like I forgot to update the About page on the server. I'll update it later[/edit]

This site is an open source project and I'm really needing to get a few lose ends tied up and get it out on SourceForge or CodePlex but I'm lazy. So if you want a copy of the source to see how I did something, or maybe want to spend some time coding something let me know and I'll get a copy of the source code together for you. Or get you into the SVN repo and you can get it your self.
This also takes a couple of this off my feature request list. More comming soon.
