Feature requests What would you like to see - Updated 7-16

Looking for a dancing Jesus (Brian), a slide show (me), multi file uploader (Rachel)? Well just make a comment here, one feature per comment but as many as you want, and I'll see what I can do. I'm wanting to enhance the site and give a few more features that are eaay to do, and easy to use.

Currently what I'm looking at doing, in no particular order are the following. I'll add other things to it and ones from comments as they are thought up or requested.

  • Update the file uploader
  • Add slide shows
  • Add links to comments <- almost there
  • Add quotes to comments 5/25/2009
  • Social bookmarking for blogs
  • RSS Feeds for blogs
  • Per user styling!!!
  • Additional levels to the tag cloud
  • Opt out of email from comments
  • Captcha free comments when logged in
  • A new Video section
  • Fix the profile editing bug 5/25/2009
  • Gravatar support for profile and comment image
  • Cowbell 5/23/2009
  • SEO for blogs 5/25/2009
  • Update to menu to to more standards compliant 7/14/2009
  • Replace the rounded corners with something a little more lightweight

So make some comments here for what you want to see and I'll make it happen. It might not be right away because some things are dauntingly hard (i.e. per user styling) but nothing and I mean nothing is impossible.

This will remail "sticky" for a few weeks, maybe longer.

OH, and make it so you can add videos that aren't you tube videos, like I could upload a video directly from my file.

You need to have Silverlight installed as well as the .NET framework. These are simple installs from the Microsoft update site.

http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us

They are free updates, there are a bunch of security updates that prolly need to be installed on your computer too. Take a look at it.

Updating your computer is always a good thing.
