Service Interruptions Stupid computers

Lately I've been having MAJOR issues with my router (Linksys WRV200). It's a fairly nice device. Lots of features and easy to configure. It even supports VLANs for a more complex environment. This device also has support for multiple VPN tunnels. I've not used them but would be a nice feature to play with. All of this and it's priced under $100. Not to bad.

But I've been having troubles with it. It started with just locking up once a month, then moved to every two weeks. Not it locks up at least once a week. Worse yet it seems to drop all of it's connections every few minutes. This is troubling to say the least.

But until I get an extra hundred dollars to blow on a new access point It's going to continue. Once I do get a new AP I'll be switching up to a Hotbrick LB2 firewall. Very nice. But it does not have inbuilt wireless, hence the reason for the AP.

So if your trying to view things and all the sudden it stops working, give it a second and it should recover....maybe.

23. There is no such thing as a dumb question, so ask it ... once. Then write down the answer so that you don't have to ask it again. If you ask the same person the same question more than twice, you're an idiot (in their eyes).
