Another round of updates Because what else do I have to do in my spare time.....

This is a very nice round of updates. In this update I've added some much needed functionality as well was some new technology. Of course with this came some painstaking work on my part, but then again it's all painstaking.

Members will now see a link in the Collection Edit page, 'Upload Multiple Files.' This is a Silverlight control to upload as many pictures as you want all at once to a single collection. Though I've found that to many pictures in one collections is cumbersome. I'll be fixing that in the next round of updates later next month, i.e. paging of gallery images.

Because the uploader simply uploads the files, I've also added a page to update all 'New' files that are added with the Silverlight control. Here you can update the images with comments, tags, and even change the status to private or make it as the default collection image.

Of course because I'm not able to test it, I'm not really sure if AOL clients support Silverlight. Of course if your not using IE of Firefox, I'm not to worried about your browsing experience. Mainly because AOL sucks and should be avoided. I've also not tested it in Safari or Opera. But there it is again, another couple of browsers I do not care about supporting.

Beyond that much needed feature I've also updated the articles. I've added an archive listing of previous months when viewing an author listing or an article.

The last major update was simplifying the comments. I took the comment entry from all three areas and crammed it into a single control that is reusable in any area of the site. With this I also updated the Captcha image to include letters. I think it's still pretty easy to use, and maybe will help with the comment spam.

As always I've updated the About section of the site with the latest updates.

Enjoy, and let me know if the Captcha is to hard to read I'd like to further refine it if needed.
