Why the internet sucks Well not the whole internet

Today was a big day for me. Why was it a big day. Because it was the day my domain name expired :( Bummer deal. I received a text this morning saing my site was down. I had already known this because I was wanting to look at some pictures and could not. First instinct - router on the fritz again. I don't think it likes the cold to much. But I was at work and "there was nothing I could do about it" Or maybe there was.

All day I spent brooding about my router and finding a suiter to replace it. When all it was, was my domain name dieing. After a quick restart of the router I found that my site was still not working. I hop on Dyndns.com and find my account is gone too, damn. IT seems that since getting my new AT&T phone/Internet/TV service (UVerse!) my IP does not change. It also seems that dyndns.com requires an update every 30 days or it bounces you. I guess that will teach me to check my Junk box a little more often. Or perhaps I'll be break down and buy an actual domain name.

Sorry the site was down to all those that I sent links to pictures to. I'll try not to let it happen again. (At least for another 30 days that is)

23. There is no such thing as a dumb question, so ask it ... once. Then write down the answer so that you don't have to ask it again. If you ask the same person the same question more than twice, you're an idiot (in their eyes).
